Designing a Visual Identity to Support Food Justice Advocacy
The Hampshire County Food Policy Council brings together a wide range of community voices to shape food policy across the region, advocating for equitable access to healthy, locally grown food and a food system that works for everyone. They needed a compelling visual identity to build awareness of local food access issues and advance equitable food systems. Their challenge was uniting a wide range of stakeholders under one clear, engaging brand.

My Role & Process
I created a bold, welcoming visual identity, centered on a hand-drawn illustration style, that reflected the council’s values of collaboration, sustainability, and equity. The design system included a flexible logo, print collateral, and templates that could evolve with the council’s outreach needs.

Impact
The new visual identity helped the council boost community recognition, unify materials, and promote upcoming initiatives tied to regional food justice work.
