Lauren Parent, Senior Graphic Designer
I came to graphic design the long way.
I studied fine art in college and later earned my MFA from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, a leap I made after losing my father, when I needed to stop waiting and start building the creative life I actually wanted. Design found me gradually after that, project by project, and I discovered that everything I loved about fine art translated directly: composition, color, the feeling a well-crafted thing creates.
Over the past decade I've grown into a senior designer and creative lead, working across brand identity, visual storytelling, publication design, and campaign work. I take the craft seriously, and I work closely with the people around me. Teams tend to trust me with the projects that need someone who won't lose sight of the idea.
I live in the Pioneer Valley in western Massachusetts with my husband (who builds guitars), our teenage son, and two cats named Lentil and Chickpea. Outside of work you'll find me at an art museum or in the bleachers at a basketball game.
