Mobile Markets and Food Business Workshops

Project Objective
Promote a series of mobile farmers’ markets in Amherst, MA to increase access to fresh, local food in communities identified as food deserts.

My Role & Process
I collaborated with a local food access initiative to develop a cohesive visual identity and set of outreach materials that could resonate across linguistic and cultural lines. All materials were designed in English and Spanish to ensure accessibility and relevance, using bold visuals and clear messaging to encourage participation from underserved neighborhoods.

Impact
The bilingual outreach campaign helped raise awareness of the mobile markets’ presence and offerings, increased community participation, and supported local food equity efforts.
