Massachusetts Migrant Education Program
DESIGN THAT MAKES EVERY FAMILY FEEL WELCOME
Skills Used:
Multilingual design, cultural responsiveness, public health communication, print and promotional design
Project Objective
Design a suite of multilingual, accessible outreach materials to inform migrant families about MMEP services, promote engagement, and reflect the program’s values of equity, inclusion, and academic opportunity.
My Role & Process
I collaborated closely with the MMEP team to develop culturally responsive designs that resonated with migrant communities. Materials were translated into multiple languages and visually structured for clarity and warmth. For the COVID-19 campaign, I created targeted materials that emphasized trust, safety, and health equity during a time of urgent need.
Impact
The materials increased awareness of MMEP services, improved outreach effectiveness, and supported public health efforts during the pandemic—helping migrant families feel informed, welcomed, and connected.
